Traditional tutoring often places several responsibilities with one person. The tutor must plan lessons, explain content,
monitor progress, communicate with parents and maintain a long-term strategy.
We divide these responsibilities between two professionals.
The Subject Tutor is a British-qualified specialist focused on delivering excellent one-to-one teaching in Maths or Science.
The Lead Educator acts as the learner's Head of Progress. They build the strategic roadmap, evaluate the direction of
tuition, monitor examination readiness and provide parents with informed clarity.
This structure helps ensure that individual lessons serve a larger purpose.
A tutor may understandably concentrate on the misconception directly in front of them. The Lead Educator considers how that
issue fits into the next school assessment, the remainder of the academic year and the student's longer-term ambitions.
We describe the model as two professionals pursuing one goal.
